GLACIER SILT STUD EARRINGS

Mendenhall Glacier & Matanuska (Mat-Su) Glacier
Gold-Filled Hardware

These studs hold the quiet work of time.

Each pair is handcrafted using glacial silt collected from the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and the Matanuska (Mat-Su) Glacier in Southcentral Alaska. This fine, dark material is created as glaciers slowly press against mountain walls—grinding stone into silt over thousands of years. What remains is not debris, but history reduced to its most elemental form.

Set into clean, minimal gold-filled bezels, the glacier silt reveals subtle variation and depth—no two surfaces exactly alike. The result is understated and powerful, carrying both stillness and immense geological movement within a small form.

These studs are finished on the same high-end gold-filled hardware used throughout this collection, including gold-filled stud posts and backings encased in soft silicone for comfort, security, and everyday reliability. Designed to be worn often, these earrings balance durability with quiet elegance.

They are not decorative stones—they are time made visible.
