Story

Throughout Southeast Alaska, cedar has long held deep cultural importance. The Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples have traditionally woven cedar into hats, baskets, regalia, and other works of artistry that reflect generations of knowledge and craftsmanship.

These earrings are a contemporary interpretation inspired by those iconic cedar hats and the forests from which they came. Cascading strands of Alaska jade evoke cedar boughs swaying in the coastal breeze, while the gold-filled cap honors the elegant shape of traditional woven forms.

Designed to celebrate Alaska's landscapes, artistry, and enduring cultural traditions, each pair carries a story of forest, coastline, and heritage.
